dainty baby shower

what i like doing (to relieve my self-overrated stress and when in the mood) is Styling - anything! my stuff and/or trash, personal parties, and whatever :)

recently, with the help of my friends, we put up together a "cute space" for our friend's surprise baby shower :) and good thing (without any plans or decent preparations) our desserts and accessories came together!

The dessert section :) my friend's boyf idea was that dramatic lighting lol

While i had been obsessing on monotone, masculine, and industrial loft, i must say, this color palette looks amazing! :) wouldn't mind turning my office like this - the pop of colors are just oozing with "happiness" :)

Styling for Real Living :)

Wow! I still can't believe i was one of the contributors for Real Living Magazine's May Issue! :) It's quite exciting cos i haven't really prepared until the day of the shoot itself, and so far, i like doing and seeing it in print :) here's to my first ever styling stint for home magazines! Projects: SY: Masters Bedroom Teaser

I must admit, the only good thing about being sick (surprisingly, i thought being in Boracay and Coron in two succeeding weekends would help me relax - but i became ill otherwise) is that i'm forced to sit down on my desk and finish my perspectives.

Here's one bedroom teaser for you:

This is going to be the Masters Bedroom in one project i'm working with. I'm still working on the color palette... so far, I'm not close to finishing my presentation yet :( But wish me luck! I hope the vitamins i'm taking right now would kick in so as to keep me sane for the next couple of hours (haha).

mellow in yellow

can't believe its May already!!! *panics*

 i just realized that after looking at my (chalkboard) calendar and saw that i have no space to post my errands with - i have to write the whole month of may again! and blame the labor day weekend too (spent it at Boracay) cos it was fun while it lasted! *sigh* now back to the grind... right now, i need to renovate another room at home at the cheapest cost (IKR), and i haven't even finished my parent's room yet... and it looks chopseuy as of now :( and reupholster/redo the living/dining as well. 

so in keeping up with the load that i need to finish at home (and awaken my inner artist's "mood" - i admit, i work best at "mood"), i made a mood board.

 this is my peg for my brother's (and sis-in-law and niece's) transient room :)

i want to keep it neutral and homey... while most furniture will be re-used/repainted/refurbished like our old post-bed almost similar to this one. well, i honestly hope the back wall will be done nicely cos i can't get my hands on the actual wallpaper here in our country. :)
