Did you know?

Pink calms and reassures our emotional energies, alleviating feelings of anger, aggression, resentment, abandonment and neglect. Studies have confirmed that exposure to large amounts of pink can have a calming effect on the nerves and create physical weakness in people. Violent and aggressive prisoners have been successfully calmed by placing them in a pink room for a specified amount of time. Exposure for too long can have the opposite effect.

Toribox Cafe

In a nutshell, here's some photos of one of my recent project - TORIBOX CAFE - which is located at 403 F. Calderon Cor. J Abad Santos San Juan City (beside Piandre).

It's an Asian-inspired coffee shop which is famous around Taft area (beside DLSU) for their Karaage pops and Katsu's :)

this apartment! is love!

why every time i'm working i stumble upon nice interiors that catches my fancy...??? i don't know.

(sigh, this studio apartment is soo dreamy)

and its not helping me at all finish my work! haha

anyhow, if you have read my previous posts, you would realize that i'm (currently) a sucker for
industrial + chic + mid-century interiors.

and if i could decorate my room again (ugh i wish) i would use:

raw cement walls and/or peeled-off white bricks

exposed wirings

wooden ceiling

retain the chandelier

okay, a build-up letter "P"

and mid-century furniture pieces

oh but yeah, i'll just stare at this for now and dream...

its so chica i love it!

Exhibit Progress. Week 2 ++

what i never hoped for, happened last week -  i got sick :( and i just hate the feeling of being stuck in bed... when you know you have to go out and move your ass, cos if you slack off a little - you'll get piled up with work! but thank God that's the past :) i'm on my better health now, and i have been pretty busy scouting for stuff for this week's styling/ photo shoot (reveal soon), canvassing for exhibit, and looking for future, potential suppliers. and as always, i ended up buying tons of fabric/stuff i don't know where to use yet! *erk*

anyway, construction for our exhibit should be done end of next week *gasp* i know... we're kind of behind! but yeah, i'm having my fingers crossed and still hoping for the best. I honestly, at this point of being too stressed out, wish and want to get this done and over with! expenses are too much! and i just can't wait to not stay in the construction site for hoursss anymore, i want to paaarrtty! lol.

Exhibit Progress. Week 1 ++

While everyone in Manila is engrossed with their long-weekend vacation, we on the other hand, are working - manning construction that is, on a Holiday... don't you just love it? :) *sarcasm*

But it's such a breather to have actually seen progress, like right now, we're painting.

 

 and though i'm really excited about how this booth is gonna turn out, i'm still having mixed emotions since we decided to alter changes and edit our original design (financial & time limit problems :( we don't have that much sponsors, so we're shouldering the cost ourselves *sigh* but oh well, in 2-3 week's time, it'll ll be over. and i'm just way too excited to work and focus on my real-life design projects after this :)
