Rustic Chic

The only reason I can post now is because I need to revise the whole plan of a current retail project - just found out today from the leasing department that the site we've been working on will be renovated on the third quarter of next year, so we're looking for other potential space, and my mind's shutting down for a moment. LOL. *trying hard not to panic*

Anyway, I have been blessed these past couple of months though I have undergone some major panic mode.... I still thank God for every learning experience :) I hope I can manage my time better in the future (though I still don't regret my spontaneous/ random travels once in a while), so I guess I just have to take Life as it is and Don't overwork too much. *reason to self much*

On another note, and as much as I don't want to post my projects' mood boards & perspectives once they're completely done... some sneak peaks like these and random (blog) posting helps me calm down & breathe for a while :)

Sophisticated Chic

Concept: light walls, unconventional mix of furniture pieces, tufting, chandeliers, beveled mirrors, silver/metal, textures, patterns, monochromatic colors.

The space is pretty tight so i'm trying to minimize dark/heavy furniture pieces, and making the walls and soft finishes as light as possible :)

First Layout: Accent chairs and console table separating Living and Dining Area.  The spaces are suppose to be opposite of each other, but i can't show it in the mood board.
 

Second Layout: A unified and open space, with minimal furniture. The Living and Dining area are both over the same (back) wall.

Restoration Hardware

Been loving this company ever since - sooo CLASS - but its quite funny cos their peg is very similar to one local store here in Manila (w/c ilove too) - Restoration! Anyway, was psyched to see some (very similar) accessories at Canton Fair before, and if only i'd win the lottery... id probably ship in almost all the items too! :)

Forever loving these tripod floor lamps... Its so old hollywood!

Again, the sack-pillow cases!

These chandeliers reminds me of some adventure slash fantasy movies

bedtime eye-candy

the problem with being an insomniac is that you're suddenly used to sleeping during the morning, and think that 2am is still early for bedtime.

and as posted in my previous  posts, i'm currently obsessed with mid-century + industrial + chic look. i don't know, but for some reason they look sooo appealing to me right now :) (or maybe because everyone is so into shabby chic/french provincial lately, that i'm a little over them after applying it in my own bedroom). mmm... i don't know

Shabby Shabby

a friend of mine asked me if i could help her redesign her room, with two simple things in mind: 

1. shabby chic 2. white and pink.

so i made her a moodboard :)

for some reason, i am also obsessed with WHITE! (as seen from my last posts) and i just love it when people ask me for shabby things :) it's fun, light & easy :)
